Roughly 10-15% of household rubbish that goes to landfill is made up from paper and cardboard. Out on a delivery recently in the CBD, we spotted this pile of cardboard ready for collection. The cardboard was in reasonable condition, good enough to be reused anyway… We just hope that it does get recycled down the track, and not destined for landfill!
It was great to see the local community get behind the event and help make a difference. From kids to the elderly, everyone got involved and made the day a success. We arrived bright and early and all the plants were already laid out, ready to be planted. The staff on hand were lovely and the whole day was a load of fun. Thanks to all those who made this day possible. And we can’t wait for next year!

The eMOVING team will be out in force this Sunday for National Tree Day. It’s a great way to spend a couple hours, have some fun, meet some people and of course give something back to the environment. If this is something that might interest you, find a local site and register your details at National Tree Day.
